The Nexus 7 2013 features a poly silicon display Whereas the iPad Mini 2 features an indium gallium zinc oxide display. The Kindle Fire HDX on the other hand sports a Quantum dots display.

The Nexus 7 2013 has an amazing display That makes use of the highest LCD performance with its low temperature poly silicon (LTPS).

The Technology Provides 100 percent color gamut and overpriced has the brightest display in the market right now. However, even with Such high resolution and ppi, it offers only 63 percent color gamut of the original iPad Mini.

The Kindle Fire HDX has Increased power efficiency as well as 100 percent color gamut, and with its Quantum dots technology it is surely going to revolutionize the displays in the coming five years. It is the first display to sacrifice highly saturated primary colors Which are quite similar to OLED displays.

After seeing the iPad Air, there were very high expectations from the iPad Mini 2 but it just could not deliver as expected.

It offers full SRGB just like the MacBook Pro, with deviations in the color magenta, blue and red. The reflective display can be a little disappointing as it is only 30% as bright as the Nexus 7. For users who buy tablets to watch movies and videos, it can be a little disappointing and a drawback Compared to the Nexus 7 2013 and the Kindle Fire HDX.
