Kindle Paperwhite (2013) Unboxing and Hands-On - Techno Buffalo

By | October 4, 2013

Last year’s Kindle Paperwhite was easily one of our favorite gadgets, let alone e-readers. Equipped with a super crisp screen and comfortable soft-touch design, the device was a pleasure to use, and was a direct access to one of the biggest ecosystem of books. This updated Paperwhite is more of the same, but better.

The upgrades Introduced to the device are simple: 25 percent faster processor, improved front light, Goodreads support, software tweaks and a slightly lighter body. Even though last year’s White Paper is a year old, it did not need all that much tweaking; this update is about as iterative as they come, but any addition That makes a product faster and improves the technology is welcome. Having loved the experience of the previous version, we expect this iteration to be no different.

If you did not catch our Paperwhite review from last year, you can read up on That here. We’ll be playing around with this year’s version to see if we notice any significant changes-since the software has been tweaked, we’ll pay attention to that-but so far it’s the same sound experience.
