Amazon.com Inc. has begun shipping its new 7-inch Kindle Fire tablet computers HDX, a new device That features a “Mayday” button to assist users in contacting customer support.

Amazon, Which has new North Texas fulfillment centers in Haslet and Coppell, said the new device Began shipping on Friday, According To the Puget Sound Business Journal. It is the latest in a series of tablet computers and e-readers marketed by the Seattle-based online retailer.

The Haslet and Coppell facilities are up and running, and the company last week Announced That the first orders were shipped from the North Texas facilities.
