New Delhi: It’s that time of year again When special discount are abound and Amazon has started offering its fabled Kindle e-readers at discounted rates here in India.

The Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite 3G and WiFi models havebeen put up for sale and the special offer starts from December 20 and will remainings to Dec. 25

Kindle e-reader will now sell at Rs 4,999, Which was EARLIER priced at Rs 5,999, and the Kindle Paperwhite Wi-Fi model is priced at Rs 9,999, down Rs

1,000 from Rs 10,999. Similarly, the Paperwhite3G variant will now sell for Rs 11,999, EARLIER priced at Rs 13.999, saving Rs 2,000 on the purchase.

The Kindle range will be available at over retail outlets including Croma, E-Zone, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.

The basic Kindle e-reader comprises a full 6-inch E-Ink Pearl display and has 167 ppi pixel density. The striking feature of the device is its Substantial battery backup Which lasts a month.

Next up, is the Kindle Paperwhite Which carries a 6-inch Paperwhite display with 212 ppi pixel density.
