Margaret Kindle Norman - Lexington Dispatch

Margaret Kindle Norman, 88, of Biesecker Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 pm Saturday at Good Hope Fire Baptized Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

A public viewing will be 1 to 7 pm Friday at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born August 29, 1925, in Davidson County to Claude and Gertrude Smith Kindle Kindle. She was a member of the Good Hope FBH Church and served on the Mothers’ Board. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John C. Norman; son Eddie Norman; daughter Maetta Norman; two grandchildren, Paul Thompson and Aaron Burns; brother Aaron Kindle: and two sisters, Hallie Hairston and Lucille Kindle.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, O. Eugene (Marie) Norman; three daughters, Mary (Thomas) Thompson, Carolyn N. Burns and Gwen “Ms. Dependable” Norman; three grandchildren, Catina Norman, Artrese Ziglar and Candice Norman; three great-grandchildren, Sterling Holmes, Paul J. Thompson Jr.. and Ariana Burns; special niece Edna Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
