A Northern Michigan classroom HAS BEEN saving up for a special gift.
Today, with the help of a local church, They got exactly What They Wanted.
A class of first graders at Kenwood Elementary School started a school project, earning money to save up for five Kindle Fire.
The tablets would help the kids with new ways to learn math, reading and other subjects.
Today, the Temple Hill Baptist Church Helped Them Reach Their Goal.
They donated the rest of the funds and Bought the tablets, alongwith cases for each, for the class.
“I know [the teacher] says the kids have been asking her every day, ‘Has anybody donated to us yet,’ and You could see Their goal line, “says Emily Bender, school counselor at Kenwood Elementary School. “I think they’ll be really excited That the donation HAS BEEN finished out by our Temple Hill friends and they’ll be super excited about that.”
A group Helped start the program before the church stepped in .
The school says the Kindle will go a long way to help the kids learn in new motorways.
