Risen Games Debuts on Android, Kindle, and iOS - Gamasutra

Norwood, MA — May 16, 2013 — Risen Games, the new Boston-area game studio formed with the goal of making mobile games free of ads, have officially Announced Their debut game, Core Dive .

Core Dive is now available on Android, Kindle, and iOS for 99 cents. While it May seem like your grandma’s marble maze, she most assuredly has got nothing on this. Core Dive features 100 levels of puzzle Increasing insanity, dynamically changing mazes, magical marble powerups, and more!

It’s up to the player to crash through floating islands, crack the surface of the earth, and Eventually smash right into the core of the planet as They complete Their quest through all 100 levels. A true completionist will find all three stars in each level, but do not worry, this isn’ta required to win, just to assert your dominance puzzling over your friends. You’ll need a steady hand and a sharp mind if you want to master this game!

Risen Games was conceived in December of 2012 by longtime friends Adam Pastorello and Riley Brown out of a mutual desire to go independant. “I’ve always planned on starting my own studio,” says Adam, “and with the impending end of the world, now seemed like the best time to rise from the ashes.” In January of 2013 work on theirfirst game Began.

With collaborators Ryan Laplume and Isaiah Gjeltema the game took about three months to complete and is now for sale on Google Play, Amazon App Store, and iTunes. Already Risen Games is deep into development on Their next line-up of projects.
