Redesigned Kindle Fire HD in Leaked Images - IGN

Earlier this summer, reports Began cropping up about three redesigned models of Amazon’s Fire tablets. BGR has just posted leaked images of the new 7-inch Kindle Fire HD, featuring a more angular back plate and more convenient button placement.

The back of the purported Kindle Fire HD is partially obscured in the images, reportedly to cover Identifying marks. But what is visible shows a strikingly different design When Compared to previous iterations of Amazon’s tablets. Gone are the subtle curves along the back of the device, and According To the source, the new Kindle Fire is lighter and more comfortable to hold.

As Previously reported, the new Kindle Fire HD 7-inch will feature a 1920 x 1200 display, a quad-core Snapdragon processor, and 2GB of RAM. The 8.9-inch Kindle Fire will apparently take on the same exterior design changes, but feature a 2560 x 1600 resolution screen. The buttons have been moved overpriced on the new Kindle Fire, and the speaker moved to the top of the device.

Allegedly, the 7-inch Fire HD will arrive in the coming weeks, with the 8.9-inch model arriving sometime in November.
