Amazon, AOS next tablet will move into the 10-inch space, According To NPD DisplaySearch analyst Richard Shim, putting it into the iPad, Surface and Nexus 10 territory. The online retailer has carved out a solid tablet reputation over the past few years, first beginning with the Kindle Fire. And now it seems the company is confident enough to go beyond last year, AOS 8.9-inch model.

According To Shim, the 10-inch Kindle Fire willhave an incredible 2,560 x 1,600 resolution screen, matching the Nexus 10, AOS screen and giving it a density higher than Apple, AOS Retina. That, plus an expected consumer friendly price, would make the potential device pretty coveted among the faithful Amazon. Shim said the tablet will start mass production During Q3.

In addition to the larger tab, Amazon introduced will follow ups to its 7-inch and 8.9-inch models, possibly with 300 PPI displays. Amazon, AOS tablets havebeen solid in Their own right, though they, Aore an Acquired taste since the Android OS is so Heavily forked. Will a possible 10-inch form factor help push Amazon, AOS Further presence in the tablet market? Smaller devices seem to be the more popular choice at the moment, but more options certainly don, AOT hurt.
