The Westborough adult summer reading program’s top winner will earn an additional reading place.
An Amazon kindle donated by the Friends of the Westborough Public Library is the grand prize in this year’s “Ground Breaking Reads” program, Which Runs June 24 to August 16, Adult Services Librarian Donna Martel said.

Registration begins at 10 am Monday, June 24, at the Adult Summer Reading link at www.westboroughlib.org.
The eight-week “Ground Breaking Reads” program is sponsored by the Westborough Public Library, the Friends of the Westborough Public Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
In Westborough, organizers hope to get 50 people to sign up online this year, up from 40 in 2012, Martel said.
Participants who do weekly log entries of how much They read or listen to books are entered into the weekly drawing of $ 25 gift certificates to the Tatnuck Bookseller and Cafe, prizes That overpriced were donated by the Friends, she said.
